You have to socialize one way or another. Socializing makes you develop confidence, character, and learn new things. It allows you to realize your flaws, your assumptions, and realize what you like/dislike in her deeper manner. It also teaches you to give second chances, or give no chances at all.

No human being can live completely alone, even you still want to comment and have other people acknowledge your words, then you acknowledge their replies.

You don't have to socialize with everyone, but finding a group that both suits you and allows you to grow, will make you a better person overall. I don't know about pleasure, but I do know it's good to socialize to become a full person.
